Fonda Moderna was created with the idea of bringing Mexico’s everyday flavors to one place — but with a fresh, elevated twist. In Mexico, a fonda is a small neighborhood eatery where the menu changes daily, serving homemade dishes like birria, tinga, or carnitas. We wanted to capture that same spirit of variety and comfort, while adding our own “fresa” touch — a nod to the strawberry in our logo and to the Mexican slang for something refined or elevated.

At Fonda Moderna, we make all our tortillas in-house using organic flour and prepare each dish with high-quality ingredients. Our menu offers a little bit of everything — from prime meats and seafood to vegetarian options and classic street tacos — so you can enjoy the flavors of different parts of Mexico in one place.
